Once upon a time, finding cruelty-free, clean, and natural hair care, makeup, and skincare products meant making a trip to a health food store. Thankfully that’s no longer the case. Stores like Target, Walmart, and Walgreens are making big strides in making these products available and affordable!

Aveeno Clarifying Apple Cider Vinegar Blend Rinse
Bye Bye gross scalp build-up, hello luscious volume! First can we talk about the cute bright packaging? The bright orange hue adds so much fun to the packaging. It’s easy to read with the bold text, and then there is the fact that it’s easy to use! Upon opening the bottle you will be immediately flooded with the smell of a delicious apple. To me it reminds me of the scents of Autumn. It makes a nice little lather, that is easy to rinse out when done. Whenever I use this I immediately see how much better my hair and scalp feels.
Dr. Bronner’s Organic Lip Balm Peppermint
When I buy toothpaste, I want something simple, minty, preferably whitening, and that makes me feel like a smart, eco-friendly consumer. On top of being made in the USA (with globally sourced ingredients), the box the toothpaste comes in is made from recyclable paperboard and printed using soy inks. I don’t have to worry about how the product will affect me or because it’s vegan, cruelty free, and there’s no BPA in the tube. Speaking of there being “no” something in the toothpaste, there’s a whole list of worrying ingredients that are ABSENT right on the box! I find that when I use this with a little bit of baking soda I have the best results.
